Ingmar Sturm did his B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Philosophy, Politics, Economics) at University College Maastricht. He is currently pursuing the Master of International Relations in Bremen. His research interests are forced migration and state-private actor relations. 

Kena Stüwe is recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and History from Jacobs University Bremen. Kena receives a scholarship from the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and engages herself in a working group on political theory within its stipendiary community. Her academic interests include equality and gender studies as well as postmodern historiographies.

Sophie Ochmann is just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Economics and Management from Jacobs University Bremen with a focus on development. This summer, she is a research assistant to Prof. Stephan Klasen at the University of Göttingen for a cooperation project with the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on the topic of inequality. Her research interests furthermore include microfinance and foreign aid.

Dennis Redeker Dennis Redeker currently pursues a PhD in International Relations at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS). He holds a BA degree from University College Maastricht and an MA in International Relations from Jacobs University Bremen and Universität Bremen.

Tasia Wagner Tasia Wagner is a consulting analyst for various think tanks, including the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). She specializes in armed conflict and insurgency in the MENA region. She holds an MA in International Relations from Jacobs University and Uni Bremen and a BA in Political Science from Portland State University.

Thomas Reinert is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in “International Relations: Global Governance and Social Theory” at University of Bremen and Jacobs University Bremen while working on his MA thesis about the concept of “state failure/fragility” and its surrounding discourse. Before this, he received his Bachelor of Arts in “Politics and Law” at University of Münster in 2012 and did several internships in the fields of international law, human rights and European Union policy. His research interests include i.a. alternative conceptions of statehood, human rights, post-conflict state-building and the responsibility to protect.

Vera Otterstein pursued her Bachelor Studies in Public Administration at the University of Münster and the University of Twente and is currently a Master Student of International Relations at University of Bremen and Jacobs University. She spent four months in New Delhi working for India’s largest member based women trade union SEWA and was recently chosen to be part of the German Delegation to the annual Y20 Summit in Istanbul. Vera is interested in the European Enlargement Process, Peacebuilding efforts in Cyprus and EU trade relations with India and Brazil. 

Lillan Lommel Lillan Lommel is a MSc by Research student in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh. She holds an interdisciplinary social science BA degree from Jacobs University. Her research interests include gender identities, feminist identity, leadership, and emotions.

Stephan Menze is currently a Master's student of Political Science at University of Bremen. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at the University of Oldenburg and studied the Master of Arts in Social Policy at University of Bremen with varying degrees of interest in the field. His research interests nowadays include international economy, political theory, monetary theory, and dominant narratives in global economics and sciences.

​Aaron Ames is a third-year undergraduate student at Jacobs University with a focus on Integrated Social Sciences.
